The series I started painting early in the year 2021 , when I accidentally dropped a glass jar in the studio and it broke into a thousand pieces!
I started with small canvases, then as usual the surface area to paint was never enough for me, so I painted larger sized canvases.
The background colors are compact and bold,
the images I go on to create are of fragile everyday objects, caught in falling .
I have devoted myself to researching the subjects so dear to the VANITAS pictorial genre.
The message is the same THE CADUCITY OF LIFE, an invitation to enjoy every day the gifts that life offers us !
